    2. DE GRUY - Percy Verloin De Gruy, Jr., on Thursday, December 7, 1995 at 12:45 o'clock p.m., son of the late Beatrice Ann Duples and Percy V. De Gruy, Sr.; brother of Forrest (Cookie) V. De Gruy and Shirley Mae V. De Gruy; brother-in-law of Joan Zehner V. De Gruy, uncle of Cynthia D. Fiorito, Wendy D. Barragan and David V. De Gruy, also survived by great nieces and great nephews. Aged 66 years, a native of Laurel, MS and a resident of Meraux, LA for the past 24 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Charity Hospital and members of Knights of Columbus Rummel Council No. 5747 and St. Bernard All Star Baseball Team are invited to attend the visitation and funeral. Friends may call at the Funeral Home of Jacob Schoen and Son, Inc., 3827 Canal Street at N. Scott, on Friday, December 8, 1995, after 6:30 PM and on Saturday, December 9, 1995 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 11:45 AM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 815 Badger Drive, Arabi, LA on Saturday, December 9, 1995 at 1:00 p.m. There will be visitation at the church after 12:30 PM on Saturday, Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1 Archbishop Joseph F. Rummel, Council 5747, Knights of Columbus. The officers and members of this council are requested to attend the funeral mass of our late brother, Percy V. DeGruy, on Saturday, December 9, 1995 at 11:30 AM from Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at St. Robert Bellamine Catholic Church, Arabi, La. at 1 PM. on Saturday. By order of Donald Hulin, Grand Knight PERCY VERLOIN DeGRUY JR. Percy Verloin DeGruy, Jr., a retired maintenance worker at Charity Hospital., died Thursday of emphysema at his home in Meraux. He was 66. Mr. DeGruy was born in Laurel, Miss. and lived in Meraux for the past 24 years. Survivors include a brother, Forrest "Cookie" V. DeGruy, and a sister, Shirley Mae V. DeGruy.
