deGRUY - Paul Urbin deGruy on Saturday, August 7, 1993 at 6:25 p.m. Beloved husband of Irene deGruy. Brother of Mrs. Wilbur (Aida) Yochim and the late Aline Allen and Collum J. deGruy. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Son of the late Francis Paul and Lucy O'Reilly deGruy. Aged 82 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie for 50 years. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterens Blvd. near Clearview, on Monday afternoon, August 9, 1993 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 448 Metairie Rd. Friends may call on Monday after 9:30 a.m. until Funeral time. In lieu of flowers, masses and donations to the American Cancer Society, preferred. Interment in Lake Lawn Mausoleum. Paul Urbin deGruy, owner and operator of deGruy's Jewelers Inc., died Saturday at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 82. Mr. deGruy was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for 50 years. He was a member of Riverlands Golf and Country Club, the SESC Social Club and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Survivors includ his wife, Irene deGruy; and a sister, Aida Yochim.
