Beloved husband of the late Rita Marie DeGruy Richard. Loving father of Phyilis Richard Cureau, George Richard, Leon D. Richard, Sharbel Richard and Mario Richard. Brother of Doris Simpkins, Joycelyn McCaskil and Leon Richard. Grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother in-law of Francis Degruy. Nephew of Vivian Jacob and Mildred Decuir. Father-in-law of Barbara, Veva, Lucille and Cynthia Richard and Charles Cureau. Devoted companion of Miss Rita Barre'. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
