Dear Ms Atkins, It has come to my attention that NARC may have to close and those items would become inaccessible. These items are of great use to me and to members of the genealogy groups I am part of. This link to our histories is of huge value and used by a large number of people working in this field, even those of use who do not live in the New Orleans area. We make special trips to New Orleans to access this and NOPL. I would volunteer my services if I lived in the area, and would not mind an increase in the user feels. Many of us have done thousands of hours of transcribing of records and I am sure lots of us would be happy to help in that way if needed.
