    3. I am *REALLY curious* about this one. Helen is this your comment or was it part of the obit: "(Elise or Lise) Louise DuFouchard Verloin DeGruy spouse of Pierre Huexell Felix Nogues" Now this is why I am curious: That name Huxelle [Huexell, etc] only appears twice in DeGruy history to date previous to this listing: one is my G G Grandfather Pierre Huxelle DeGruy [ 12 Mar 1817-11 Sep 1883] married to 1. Julie Eveline Boutte and 2. [to my grandmother] Marie Celilia Cunningham. We have discussed this before. The only other place the Huxelle appears is the Pierre Huxelle DeGruy [from Point Clear, Alabama] who was married to Marguerite May McKeever. This Pierre's dates are 23 Feb 1885-14 Dec 1950]. So naturally the question arises: who in the heck is Pierre Huexell Felix Nogues and how does he end up with the hard to find Huxelle middle name that we are still trying to pin down with reference to our 2 Degruys???? Is he the son of a Degruy and the allied family Nogues? Is the Huxelle affiliated with the Nogues name a mistake? Does anyone have this information at hand to share? If not, we need to go looking for it.
