He is the son of Maria Couturier and José DeGruis, son of Pedro DeGruis and Maria Ofre, daughter of Mr. Ofre of Paris and DeGruis’ grandmother whose name he does not know. Maria Luisa is the daugther of Thomas Sole and Maria Teresa Pery, daugther of Mr. Pery and Teresa Ofre, daughter of DeGruis’ grandparents. This marriage is with their parents’ consent and announced publicly a year ago.
