Pardon Degruy list members, but I've got to get a message to Jerry. Hope you get this Jerry. Jerry, Someone has stolen your email and has used it for "phishing". Better talk with Bellsouth. I have gotten three of these from you just this morning. --------------- Here is the email I just received: "Hey! I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,We came down here to London,England for a short vacation and We were mugged at gun point last night at the park of the hotel where we lodged all cash, credit cards and cell were stolen off us. We've been to the US embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all,Our flight leaves in less than 24hrs from now and we are having problems settling the hotel bills. The hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the hotel bills now we freaked out. We need your help. Regards." --------------- You'll need that complete Headers ... I will cut and paste these for you if you use a different email address and contact me off the Degruy list. R
Hi, The following folks have submitted their "Degruy List Lines". Before I post an updated version I would like to see if anyone else "out there" has their line to submit. [Since we have about 60 members registered and only 23 are listed below, there must be a few who could still add their lines.] If you are one of the missing ones and you are willing to contribute, please follow the format at the bottom of this email. Please do not list living persons. Just put "Living" in the place of their names.... to protect everyone's privacy. Some of you might want to check this out at Google Books because there are many references to Guise, Guiche, de Gruise, and other similar sounding/spelled names. We live in sad times St. John the Baptist Church, Edgar, La. Over-night hours of Juy 23-24, 2010, vandalism occurred by using stones about the size of a junior foot-ball to crash through the protective exterior glass and stained-glass windows and landed inside the church, which was built in 1920. These new stones can only be found on the ferry landing. They would have had to walk a long way or they had a car. Three historic stained-glass windows behind the alter of St. John The Baptist Church in Edgar were badly damaged. Several stones were thrown through the window depicting St. John the Baptist, the church's patron saint. Clarion Herald, August 7, 2010 Helen Kendrick
