Gene, Odile Marie Derbes deGruy was Louis Verloin's MOTHER, not his wife. Her picture is posted on the web site, as is her husband, Octave. Dr. Derbes published a family history book that I viewed several years ago in the library at Salt Lake City. In it are two letters written in French by Odille to one of her Derbes cousins and one to her aunt in France. The letters were written late in Odille's life and fondly talk of each of her adult children. I had a French Club translate the letters for me. They are 2 of my most prized possessions. The translations are posted on the website Jacques mentioned yesterday. (I haven't updated that site in a very long time, probably since we got busy with the MyFamily Collaboration site.)
