    3. Just a bit of a note about who I am and why I am here. I am one of those nutsy folks that just can not seem to leave anyone from New Orleans or LA for that matter, off of my tree, which would explain why I have a tree with 16,000+ people on it. And the way I discovered my Hepp connection was to notice that all Hepp family members listed in 1700 & 1800 records were related to each other and from on set of parents, John/Juan Hepp and Catharina Fry who arrived about 1780. I also believe that we (those with ancestors in NO) are all cousin, maybe distant, but cousins and my genealogy addiction" leads me to try and connect everyone. LOL I have collected almost all of the NO SLC Sac. records & books, tons of the NO Genesis books and many, many more and am more than happy to share or do research for others. I also have the copy of "The Complete Gaiennie" by George Gaiennie. Mr. Gaiennie also sent me a GED of his family and permission to share this info with anyone with connections to this family. According to him, all GAIENNIE families were related. Thanks again for the invite, it would be my pleasure to join. My only connection to the Degruy family is by way of Marie Alix Gaiennie (1873-1957) wife of Francois Verloin Degruy II (abt 1852-abt 1900) who married 22 Apr 1893 in NO (when she was 20 & he was 41), but certainly recognize the name. Marie Alix was the daughter of Alphonse Florenton Gaiennie (1826-1884) and Marie Alix Fazende (abt 1833-1877) I have not done much research on the DEGRUY family, but would be happy to share what I have and do any research that might help.
