From LA FAMILLE GRAVOIS, LES TROIS CENTS ANNEES PASSEES by Roland Anthony Ravois, 1997 Page 31 "Jeanne Cantrelle, daughter of Jacques Cantrelle and his second wife, Marie Marguerite Larmusiau, married Louis Judice who was born in New Orleans of French parents. Louis Judice was shown with his family, on 24 arpents of land, at Cabahanoce just upriver of the 4 arpents of land reserved for the church in the 1766 ce3nsus. The 1766 and the 1769 census were taken by Louis Judice, who served as the first Commandant in Cabahanoce from 1765 to 1770. He and his family moved to Donaldsonville in 1770 when he became Commandant of Lafourche des Chetimaches. All of their land holdings were sold in 1774. Louis Judice proved to be a good friend to all the Acadians on both the First and Second Acadian Coast. It is felt that he may have been very helpful in helping many Acadians of Caahanoce, such as Jean Gravois and his uncle, Joseph Gravois, obtain land in the Donaldsonville and Lafourche areas." This is a huge book and there may be more Judice references
Greetings from the West Indies, New information is revealed in my daily research that the seminal painting, "Shepherds At Arcadia" was once owned by the French king, Louis 14th, and kept in his personal quarters. As previously reported, the deGruy Champagne region families later had this Pusssin painting in the Chateau Brienne to study and enjoy. THIS INDICATES AN IMPORTANT TIE BETWEEN THE FRENCH CROWN AND NOBILITY TO THE RENNES CHATEAU MYSTERY. WE KNOW, OF COURSE, THE CONNECTION OF THE DEGRUY FAMILY TO LOUIS IV, WHOSE TWO MINISTERS, FOUQUET (IE FOUCHER) AND COLBERT WERE BOTH FASINATED WITH RENNES CHATEAU, HOLY GRAIL, MEROVINGIAN HISTORY. LATER, (TWOCENTURIES) JOHANNES DE HAPSBURG TRADED MUCH MONEY TO THE REV SONNIERE FOR UNKNOWN REASONS BUT A SIGNIFICENT POINT IS THAT THE GREAT CROWN OF THE HAPSBORG CHARLEMAGNE HERITAGE IS INSCRIBED......... "REX - SALOMON" This indicates that the Merovingian heritage can be traced to the Temple of Solamon in Jerusalem..... SOURCE OF THE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR. REMEMBER, OUR COUNT OF BRIENNE DESCENDENT AND DE LUSIGNAN MARRIED THE DUKE OF SAVOY AND TOGETHER THEY BOUGHT THE HOLY SHROUD OF TURIN. all best, gene

Hi, We did receive a request for money from someone claiming to be you - in England. Deleted it immediately and cautioned the list not to respond to what seemed to be a phishing scheme. I think that it is safe to say that whenever there is a quest for money on the list, we should all know to delete the message immediately and not respond in any way. I always delete these messages and empty my trash folder immediately. This, of course, does not apply to the issue of funding Mr. Chapelin's research!!! :-> We do periodically inform our members when we are collecting for another phase of research. [By the way, we haven't collected anything for the next phase that he could do....] Kitty, if you find out from those experts you are dealing with to solve this email problem any tips about how to avoid these phishing attempts, please pass the recommendations along. I have unsubscribed you from the list and the website and resubscribed you under your new email address. I suggest everyone who has your old email take care of this in your own address books immediately. I think Gene is traveling, so you may want to send him an email so he finds this when he returns home. Caution: If you get an email which seems to be from someone on our list which asks for money, it is probably a phishing attempt from an outside source . You should notify your spam manager on your server or delete it. If you are concerned for the person it supposedly came from, then you might call them at home or on their cell phone. But it would be unwise to respond in any way to the email itself. An email was caught by the list's spam blocker and it has been deleted. But the same version ended up in the mailbox of another list member... so it's possible that others on our list may have received the email as well, despite the fact that I have prevented it from being sent to the list as a whole. Better safe than sorry. R
