I agree with both Bonnie and Sylvia, The Clementine Degruy below is Clementine Margurite Degruy, daughter of Francois Joseph Verloin Degruy and Marie Heloise Saulet as documented by the Archdiocese of New Orleans Sacramental Records, Vol. 17, p. 387. The Clementine Verloin Degruy who married Alphonse Marmillion was the daughter of Joseph Verloin Degruy and Josephine Anais Foucher. She was the niece of the Clementine above as her father was the brother of Clementine Margurite. Was he possibly naming a daughter after a recently deceased sister?
