I do not think this is a hardware problem at all. I am not sure what it is but it sounds like it is behaving like an improper printer driver. The only time I have seen that is when multiple printers are available. I have also seen improper printing happen when a parallel printer cable is too long. Whatever causes it, I am glad you have found an acceptable work around. Bob
