    3. I want to buy Deed-Mapper, but have some questions before I order. I have tried for 3 days to reach them by phone and by e-mail, but cannot get an answer on the phone or an answer to my e-mails. This makes me REALLY wonder about the company. Can anyone give me any input? I was going to be the "guinea pig" for about 30 other people who were also interested in it depending on whether I like it and find it easy to use but who are also questioning now if they want it since we can't get our questions answered. Thanks for any input! Dee

    3. They do go out of town on occasion. I would not worry about the company or their product because you haven't received a response, because I've used it for about three or four years and Steve is VERY responsive to questions. It is an excellent program and your 30 friends really don't need a guinea pig. Ask any of us. It's well worth the money. Your friends will not be unhappy with this program. I love it and used it extensively for genealogy and mapping Pennsylvania townships. 3. I also have used this program for 3-4 years and have found them usually very responsive to questions and emails. Directline is a small company, so I would imagine that Steve is simply on vacation or something. I've never had any difficulties and as many on the list know, Steve is typically good about answering questions via the mailing list and privately.
