I haven't had any reason to contact the author. I haven't had any problems I couldn't work my way through. I have always had high hopes for this program and am pleased with its portability (i.e. text input). While there are a few difficulties (like trying to find the parcel with VIEW option), the program is a very reliable program which meets the goals of its design. I found the list to be very helpful when I was having trouble with it. My only problem is finding enough hours in the day to put the data in. <G> I did have trouble with my deeds not closing, but I think that is more a terrain problem, or user error than anything. Also I have yet had time to play with it enough to be thoroughly proficient at it yet. One thing I did like is that once I get the plot mapped out, I can attach it to TMG so that my reader can see what the plot looked like. This can be helpful when parts of land were sold off larger plots within the family. Now does anyone have a solution to that time thing?
