Hi, I am a hopeless newbie with a really dumb question, I'm sure. But I'd really appreciate a little guidance. I've just got Deed-Mapper. In order to learn what I'm doing before tackling my mysterious SC relatives, I took a couple of the texts of Lunenburg Co, VA deeds for my family members which another user has kindly provided on the deed pool page and entered them as texts. I followed it very carefully and I think I did it right. I have a very nice list of Pt A) pine . . . etc all the way to Pt ) red oak with all the ln directions filled in. I can switch to Table mode and see the patent and the date and the grantee and the acreage. But when I go to Plot View I get nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. So, my question is: what am I doing wrong?
