Mr. Barrett, You said that on your map up was not north. All the lines in a plat are given relative to north simply because the compass is magnetic. Most maps are oriented so that up is north, and I think DeedMapper makes this assumption. If your map isn't oriented properly, then you need to get a new map or turn the one you have so that up is north. Barry Clark Fredericksburg, VA
