Changing 'poles' to p did not change the result. Omitting the 'x' also did not change the result. This patent uses the points of the compass, rather than degrees, as in the following: "North East & by North half East forty eight poles". The help file indicates this should be entered as: "Ln NExN.5pE; 48p;". Does the mistake indicator !! in the second Ln suggest that the error begins there? Marilyn
