Hi I see many patents with no direction except a meander but they give a distance "in a straight line" or "in a right line". Is the distance they give: 1) some sort of summation of the "legs" of the meander if made into a straight line? or 2) a guess at the straight line distance from the beginning point of the meander to the end point? When deedmapper computes one leg of a patent is there any way to tell what the direction & distance computed were? I don't find myself very good at pointing and moving the crosshair and getting an accurate distance. Since the program "knows" the direction & distance precisely, it would help to just get those numbers.
