Dear Doug, Just a shot in the Dark. My daughter lives in Northampton, Mass. One summer she took me to a little lake somewhere in Mass, I think in the Berkshires, and I talked to the lady who was running the little beach. She told me the history of the house and it included DECKER. In fact her name may have been Decker. I was surprised because I did not previously know of that name in Mass.
