I have never heard anything about the English Deckers, only Dutch and German! And I do believe you will find the German folks were originally Deckert and the Dutch were either Decker or Dekker. Niki---who were your grandparents, great grandparents, etc. & where in the U.S. did your ancestors live??? This helps a lot in getting info to you and helping you work on your line. Always start with yourself & work back. I have a lot of Decker (Dutch) info, so let me know what you find. Marilynn Strand
