I've only been on the Decker rootsweb list for 2 or 3 weeks, but have been trying to find the Rear Adm (Ret)B W Decker book since this summer. On a trip to Hardy Co, WV, I came across several references (letters) to research being done by him in the public library at Hardy. Is the book still in print and/or can copies of it be made? My particular interest is in (1) "Col" Luke Decker b 1760 in Hardy Co, WV, d aft 25 mar 1825 in Knox Co, IN. He m. in 1781/82 one Sarah Harness b abt 1759/60 in WV. They had eight children (listed partially in/from two sources) . One supposedly was Daniel Decker b 1785, d abt 1860/70 in Delaware or Morrow Co, OH. He married in WV 13 Dec 1809 Maryann Yoakum b 25 May 1787, d abt 1860/70 Morrow Co, Oh. This couple also had eight children. I have names for only five of them. Does this info check out against the info in Adm Decker's book? I certainly would appreciate a listing on all Lukes and Daniels such as the one you sent out to the list on all Isaacs. Know this is a lot to ask. Any thing you do for me would be greatly appreciated. I have the ancestors down to/ and up from this point. Need now only to correctly connect them.
