Diane: I don't think I ever asked you, do you know whether Horace had any siblings? I have Caroline listed with two possible birthplaces. Someone gave it as Rochester NY and in an article about her son Calvin, it was given as NJ. Did I tell you that I found a lot of Deckers on the 1850 Manchester Twp. Ont. Co census and 6 Peters in a land deed indes for Ont. Co. ? You probably have seen these same things. Nancy Krohn, in Ann Arbor, has promised to "dive" into her Decker files for me.
