Hi, This most likely won't be of any help, BUT, perhaps you could tell me, did your David DECKER have any sibs listed in the 1850 census? particularly a brother named Horace? Horace Decker is my g.g.grandfather. Funny coincidence, his grandson (my grandfather) married a DURKEE - so in 1910, there was another DECKER-DURKEE connection (in Michigan). Odd, huh. Anyway, please let me know, as I have been trying for sometime to learn who the parents of my Horace are (he was born NY in 1832).
