Hi, I know there is a connection to this family. The peoblem I encounter is in connecting John Decker B abt 1795-1803 to my gg grandfather Asa C Decker b. 1821 Knox Co Indiana, m. Lydia Patrick b abt 1825 in NJ, m. 1842 in Gallatin Co. Illinois. Other sons of this John were John, Job or Jobe. Possibly dayghters Catherine who was listed with Asa and Lydia 1850 Hamilton Co Ill. census , she was I beleive 23 at that time. Another dau. Margret (?) This is my missing link and I am having great difficulty finding him , he came to knoxx Co from Ohio. All of these Deckers are very confusing but I know he is related to the Deckers you emailed. Any further information greatly appreciated
