Both from Copake Columbia Co. and moved to the Deckertown area of Susquehanna Co. PA about 1840s? My Dekcer line is supposed to go pretty far back, all the way to a Jan Broerson, ca. 1650s to New Amsterdam, but I haven't confirmed it. Just curious what source you were able to use to confirm your Philip was from Germany. Hmmm... intriguing.... maybe my Deckers were German. Look forward to sharing Decker info with you. PETER married RHODA BOUTON and moved to Great Bend, Susquhanna Co., PA by 1840. I believe JACOB and HENRY moved to Springfield, Bradford Co., PA by 1840 and 1850 respectively.
