Mrs. Brown was educated in Portland schools, graduated from Potter Academy of Sebago in 1936 and attended Shaw Business College in 1937. > > She worked in Sales at Kezar Falls Woolen Mill for 20 years retiring in 1965. > > She was a member of the West Baldwin United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. People say they have never heard her raise her voice- and who can forget her beautiful blue eyes? Birds gave her much joy over the years and she knew the names of them all. She enjoyed her gardening -vegetable and flower and in earlier years she enjoyed hunting and fishing. > > Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, George E. Brown, who died Dec. 13, 1993, a daughter, Patricia Ann Hannigan, who died June 2, 1995, and a brother, John H. Decker, who died March 31, 1995. > > Surviving are a son, Alan E.
