Not my family. From the Middletown (NY) Daily Press Sept. 18, 1891. Mrs. Julia A. Dewitt Mrs. Julia Ann, widow of Jacob Dewitt died Wednesday at Quarryville, N.J., of heart failure and cerebral effusion. Her age was 76 years, 8 months, and 0 days. Mrs. Dewitt was a daughter of Bradford Decker, formerly of Wantage. One brother, Jonathan Decker of Port Jervis, survives her. Alfred Decker of Paterson was another brother. She was the mother of 16 children, five of whom are now living: Mortimer and Aurthur of San Franciso, John and Mary at home, and Lavinia?, wife of William Costerline of Port Jervis. Twenty grandchildren are living. Mrs. Dewitt was an affectionate mother and a kind neighbor, loved and respected by all who knew her. Her disposition was cheerful and she was also seking to do all the good it was in her power to do. The funeral will take place at the residence of John Dewitt Friday at 10 a.m. Interment at Clove cemetery.
