Surnames: Decker, Woodard Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/hgR.2ACIB/1800 Message Board Post: Found a Miles and Mary Decker in the 1860 census for Rochester , maybe a start to solving the following mystery: This concerns the Deckers buried in the Woodard family plot in Alleghany cemetery Allegany, Cattaragus County NY . I feel Mary may be a Woodard/Woodward. . Miles Decker b.1808 d.1894 and Mary Decker b.1818 d. 1899. The census shows Mary at 40 and Miles (a Law Agent) at 50 having two sons, John E. 19 (a Law Student) and George 14. Does anybody know further? Rochester is big to search for 1870 on ancestry.com Images. Thanks for any help.
