My GGG Grandfather was John Decker (born 1814; died ?) My GG Grandfather was James Gabriel Decker (born 1856 or 1857; died 03/09/1933); I don't know the name of his first wife but his second wife's name was Mary Dickerson. My G Grandfather was William Emerson Decker (born 09/29/1978; died 02/02/1931) - he married Emma Bell Smith (born ? ; died 07/10/1964). Their children were Genie Decker (male); born 1895 or 1896 and Jimmy Decker born 1897 or 1898. My Grandfather was Zola Decker Sr. (born 04/27/1899; died 05/08/1979) married Erlon Pruitt (born 06/08/1906; died 07/10/1986) 06/30/1928. Their children were (1)Zola Decker born 02/27/1899 in Parnell, KY and died 05/08/1979; (2) Auda Decker born 06/18/1901 and died 03/1968; (3) Lester Decker born 1904 or 1905; (4) Esther Decker born 1906 or 1907 and died 04/01/1974; (5) Pearl Decker born 1908 or 1909 and died 05/28/1969; (6) Estill Decker born 05/11/1911 and died 02/1986; (7) Opal Decker born 1914 or 1915; (8) Glyda Decker born 1918 or 1919 and died 04/29/1967; and (9) Ovaline Decker born 1918 and died in 1959. When my Grandmother Decker passed away she left me boxes and boxes of material that I have been trying to piece together. From everything that I have found they stayed around Russell Springs, Cooper, Sumpter, Monticello., Jamestown. I have other information if you would care to share yours as well. I just don't want to ramble on too much in case we are not on the same line.
