Jim, did you have a chance to review any of the census returns for Orange county around that time? Carpenter was and is a big name for that area still today. Carpenter and Smith were partners in a mill in Monroe, Orange County. Decker was a very commen name for Warwick and surrounding Towns. I checked my database but did not find any Margarets, sorry.
