Dear GG-grandmother Mary M. (Decker) Roddy, I'd like to know who your parents were. I know you were born Dec. 9, 1800 in Westmoreland Co., PA...but that is such a big area & there were many Deckers there it seems. Since the census back then is not much help, any crumb of info you'd like to cough up would be greatly appreciated. I have found your grave, thanks to a wonderful friend. I know you married John RODDY in Johnstown, Cambria Co., PA about Oct. 1819 & you died July 21, 1889 (thanks for leaving that tidbit on the tombstone). My G-grandfather had your maiden name as his middle name...Samuel Decker RODDY. He was decent enough to even leave a photo. Now please, help me join you to your parents & siblings...
