    3. I would also suggest you try to get an obituary and death certificate for Bertha - the obit might list her brothers name (or other sibs) and where they lived. The death certificate would list her parents names. Another place to contact would be the person who takes care of the hollywood cemetary - they might have notes from her burial. (for example one place I called told me my ggf worked in icecream factory.) anyway just other leads you might follow up. If your mother was married to glen there should be a record for your mom and glen jr. as dependents. Are you sure he was army (I did find a Glen that was a marine in one of the census who was the right age - wrong birthstate tho). (of course the census could be wrong.)

    3. I looked all through the Richmond newspapers for her obituary. Believe me, I wanted to find it for the reasons you mentioned. I'll try the death certificate route next.
