    2. What part of NY were your Deckers from? In 1840 I had Deckers in Columbia County, and Sarah is a common name among the females. Most common male names were William and John. Annie << Looking for any and all information regarding Leroy Decker, born 1840 in New York, moved to Ohio, and Kansas. Leroy was married to Louisa who was born in Ohio about 1845. they have 4 children listed in the 1880 census; Richard, Thomas, Sarah E., and Enna L.. I have been unsuccesfull in my search for further information on these children with the exception of Thomas, and there is nothing further as to who Leroy's parents were, or what became of them. If any of these names are familiar please contact me. >>
