ask the State Archives of Michigan for Mr. LeRoy Barnet's address. Recently retired chief archivist. 1000% knowledgeable about railroads and II think there is a book on railraod accidents. Nancy
This probably won't help at all depending on location, but we were told there is a section of a library attached to the University in Louisville, Ky that has the records for the old rail lines that have now become CSX. I think it was the L & N Rail road. Pam, don't you wish we could find a site where the railroad kept records of employees killed on the construction of the railroads. I'm sure they have the records, but don't know how to obtain them. If you ever figure it out, let me now. As of now, I'll keep searching. Kathy

Linda, Been a while since we talked. Once I finish a few projects I plan to start inputting all the Decker Information that I have accumulated including the 4 published genealogies in the the Early NY Dutch Familes Database. I would like to volunteer to be one the unoffical Decker Websites. If people would like to help they can do so by sending me copies of their Gedcoms, family group sheets, etc. and I will include it with the rest of the information.
