    2. GENEALOGY PERSONAL HOME PAGES Hi! I just added a page which is dedicated to all researchers who have a genealogy site on the WEB plus for those looking for a certain surname. This site lists surnames & genealogy personal home page links of those who are providing online information for their ancestors. I am hoping this page will let people searching for a particular surname find web pages with a matching surname without going through multiple search engines or webrings. You don't have to join anything or mess with passwords - just fill out a form. Right now this page is in the beginning stages but I hope it will grow in time and serve as a very useful genealogy resource to all that are interested. We've got 250 links already! I encourage you to check out my page and if interested in contributing your information, complete my form. Then your web page address and surnames will be added to this page after review (within a week unless I am overwhelmed). If your web page and surnames are not on the page within a week, please email me to find out why. All that I ask for this service is that on your page you provide a link back to: Genealogy Personal Home Pages. The address is: http://members.aol.com/Indianbrav/surnames.html Here's a direct link: <A HREF="http://members.aol.com/Indianbrav/surnames.html">Genealogy Personal Home Pages</A> Thanks, Danielle Thompson http://members.aol.com/DThomp3907/index.html (main page) While you are visiting, please stop by my main page and check it out!

    1. [DECKER-L] Re: Unidentified subject!
    2. In a message dated 98-08-23 17:01:27 EDT, you write: > Hello out there, am looking for relatives of an Alfred Decker--husband to > Rissie Dell > (Beal)--father to Violet Ivory Decker-Parham--would be my Great- grandfather. > Alfred > and Rissie divorced while Violet Ivory Decker was young..Violet married > William H. > Parham and moved to Oklahoma. However, she died at age 33 or 34 yrs. in > Slick, OK. Hey, figuring approximate dates for this shouldn't be too hard. If you know when Violet died (within a few years) you can figure when she was born. A generation is usually figured at 25 years, so you can count back from there to get an approximate date for Alfred Decker. I have two Alfred Deckers in my grandfather's lineage in the St. Louis area: one born 1898 (marrried to Edna) and his son born 1937. Having approximate dates four your relatives at least gives you a ballpark to work with. Without some kind of time frame you'll be shooting in the dark! Diane (Decker lineage through my mother)

Alfred and Rissie divorced while Violet Ivory Decker was young..Violet married William H. Parham and moved to Oklahoma. However, she died at age 33 or 34 yrs. in Slick, OK. Have been unable to trace which Alfred Decker, there are several listed in Social Security Death Index--and I'm not even sure he is deceased. Need any and all info possible..I'm at a dead end on this line..Also would like to know of any Indian heritage possible on this family member..Thanks Sherry (Parham) Brake
