    2. My G-G-Grandmother was Catherine Decker of Glenham, N.Y. and she married Jabez Case of Matteawan, N.Y. That is all that I have and I am having trouble identifying parents, etc. Just yesterday, I found a Richard Decker of Matteawan, who was receiving a Pension in a1885 from the Federal Government. It is listed as: Decker, Richard-Matteawan-Minor-8 September,1884 (189,882). Thought maybe there might be a connection to Catherine, but not sure. Do you happen to have any Deckers from Glenham/Matteawan, N.Y. Towns are right next to each other. "Joanie"

    3. Hello. I'm researching George DECKER, Father of Evelyn Goldie DECKER. Her mother is unkown. Evelyn married George Dewy Hoopes, and they had twins, George Dewy HOOPES Jr., and Dorothy Evelyn HOOPES (my grandmother). There is a family rumor that Evelyn Goldie DECKER may have been adopted. If this line looks familiar to anyone, please let me know. Thanks, Courtney Robinson

Isaiah Decker, son of Johannes Jan Decker and Deborah Van Vliet of Kingston NY, was born in 1764 and married Hanna Fradenburg Abt. 1791. I don't have any of there children in my files though... The Fredenburg (and associated spellings) and the Deckers are both in my lines. What do you think?? Any help? Horace Decker is my g.g.grandfather. Funny coincidence, his grandson (my grandfather) married a DURKEE - so in 1910, there was another DECKER-DURKEE connection (in Michigan). Odd, huh. Anyway, please let me know, as I have been trying for sometime to learn who the parents of my Horace are (he was born NY in 1832). I feel that politics & religion are touchy subjects for some, & should be sent to only those people that YOU KNOW would appreciate them. I wouldn't care for them. BUT I'm not unsubcribing. because of it. Happy Holidays all Deb.
