Thomas Gilbert the emigrant at Taunton - half of his children married into the Deane family at Taunton,Mass. as well as the Williams family who also married into the Deanes. Luther Deanes grandmother was also a Deane. There are strong ties to the Deane family and the Gilberts. I have scowered the Dana Gen so many times i could recite verbatim.
