Dang Sam; I *knew* I'd mess this post up somehow... I forgot earlier to include the fact that the: --------------------- Sergeant Joseph T. DEAN who served in Co. C of the 7th Indiana Cavalry (http://www.thnet.com/~liggetkw/incw/rgmnt/7incav.htm) during the U.S. Civil War; was captured and later died aboard the steamship Sultana on 27 APR 1865. --------------------- not ONLY died in that Sultana tragedy, but his grave today can be found in Memphis National Cemetery...
