There was a James and a Joseph Dean in Davidson County, US Territory South of the River Ohio/Tennessee wheeling and dealing in real estate from about 1794 to 1800. One 440 acre tract was sold by Joseph Dean to James Dean for Robert Love Dean on 11 Jan 1802 Also in Davidson were Aaron Dean and Moses Dean who received grants from the State of TN in 1837, 1839, 1841. Can anyone tell me anything about these Deans? I'm trying to find the family of Obedience Dean who was born in NC and married Jacob Strator in Sumner Co. in 1813. Joyce
