Peggy, This would be the Hardy who was 6th child of Joseph Dean and Elizabeth Edmondson. He was b. 3-4-1818 in Linclon County, Tenn and d. Sept 26, 1900 in Nesbit, DeSoto County, Miss. He married in 1836 Cynthia Ellen Pitts. Buried in DeSoto County, Miss.
