I just joined the Dean list, and want to ask if anyone has any information about John S. Dean, born abt 1860 in Red House, Putnam County, West Virginia. He is my great-grandfather. I know very little about him. In 1891 he married Eliza Jarrett and they had ten children before his death on June 28th, 1904 in a coal mining accident in Red Ash Mine, Fayette County, West Virginia. Other than that, the only trace of him I've been able to find is his listing on the 1900 census in Fayette County, West Virginia. If anyone knows anything about him, please contact me. (male) - born March 1892 James Harvey and his twin Clarence A. - born Jan 1896 Silvia M. - born Aug 1897 Annie P. - born March 1899 Inez Golden (my grandmother) - born Dec 25, 1900 Mary - born 1902 Maude B.and her twin Martha B. - born 1904.
