Just thought I'd post again just incase there are any new "listers" who might offer a CLUE! Looking for the birthplace (town) and parents of the following: John Dean, b. Feb. 23, 1781 in NY (according to census records). John died in 1865 in Jefferson County, IN. John married Mary Ann. Last name unknown. She was born in England. The only children I know about are: A(rchibald) C. Dean born Dec. 4, 1822 in NY Mary A. Dean born Feb. 23, 1835 in Ohio. Mary married John Ritchie, b. in OH; they married in Jefferson County, IN. It would seem there are quite a few years in between these children, so there must have been others. I would guess that John and Mary Ann married somewhere in NY.
