    3. I have been double checking some on my extended family and I sure do need some help. Mary Ann FLEMMING remarried after my gggandfather died. James PACE and Mary Ann FLEMMING Dean had 5 more children. In the 1901 Census for Upper Musquodoboit, these birthdates don't match the children I have. HELP !!! James (Little Jim) Dean ((son of James Dean and Elizabeth (Betsy) Henry)) b. ~1814 in Upper Musquodoboit, Halifax County, NS Canada d. June 23, 1866 married to Mary Ann Flemming ((daughter of John Flemming and Mary Croft)) b. May 7, 1831 d. 1917 4 children 1. Thomas Flemming Dean ** my gg b. July 9, 1855 d. May 7, 1930 married Mary Fisher ** In case you are keeping track of my searches, this is the elusive "WIDOW BOOMER" and we have lost her first 3 children by the lost/nonexistant Mr. Boomer. ** 2. Ellen Jane Dean b. 1859 married George A. McKay 3. Nelson Dean b. 1862 DILEMMA # 1 - in the 1901 Census Nelson Dean is living next door to James Pace, his stepfather, and married to Hattie Cook. His birth date is Jan. 6, 1873. These dates do not match with other census for Upper Musquodoboit. 4. Elizabeth Kirke Dean b. 1864 Mary Ann Flemming married to James Pace b. Jan. 1, 1840 4 children 1. Adam or David Pace b. 1868 2. Henry Pace b. May 15, 1874 3. Charles Pace b. June 18, 1874 DILEMMA # 2 - in the 1901 Census, Charles Pace is living on the other side of his father James Pace. Charles is married to Ada ?? His birth date is shown as June 18, 1874, however his brother, still living with his father was born just a month earlier. Any Suggestions?? 4. Lila Pace b.
