Dear Patty (and any/*all* others who may connect), Back in September you wrote the following: Re: DEAN-D Digest V99 #116 >>I am working on the DEANs that were in Floyd Co. Kentucky 1820.... ... I tie to Abe and Sally DEAN WIREMAN her brother was Job DEAN. Patty Simpkins Cartwright 707 Oak Street New Castle, PA 16101<< The only reason I came across it now is that I had a recent crash of my e-mail program. I'm in the process of trying to unscramble the material that wasn't totaly destroyed. ANYWAY, the name JOB DEAN jumped out at me so I am trying to contact you these many months later. My brick wall is the ancestry of Anna DEAN, born in 1864 in KY Her father was John C.H. DEAN (1812-1901). I believe her mother was John's second wife, a VanArsdall She had brothers: George and Nimrod among several others - and sisters: Esther and Lucy Ann. In fact, I think Anna and Lucy Ann were twins. I *think* John C.H. Dean was the son of Job Dean and Nancy Isbell. The "H" *might* be for Henry because Anna named one son Henry. Anna Dean married Robert Terhune in KY in 1889, they lived in Mercer Co, KY. Do these names mean anything to you? Are we cousins perhaps??? Waiting with bated breath, Barb Terhune bat@bitstorm.net
