J. July 17, 1912: Going to Lewes, Delaware to visit friends, Elmer Friant, an electrician of this city, attended a social gathering and while there was introduced to a Miss Fisher. It was a case of love at first sight and the attraction was mutual. A proposal of marriage was made before the party was over and in a few hours the couple were married. Mr. Friant returned home within three days of the time of his going accompanied by his bride.
