Nicholson to be Chancellor of the State under the new constituation. Mr. Nicholson was Chancellor under the old law, having been appointed on November 6, 1893 to succeed James L. Wolcott who resigned. It may be some time before the other Judges are appointed. The new constitution of Delaware went into effect today. The old one had stood in effect since 1831 and was very similar to the one of 1782.
