Article Text: Lewes, Del., Dec. 3, 1909: Warned by the experience of the Lewes Life Saving crew last winter, when if it had not been for a private tug towing them to a wreck of a four-msted schooner, the crew of which would have been drowned, the govrnment has provided them with the latest designed lifeboat, operated by a 40 horse power gasoline engine, with self bailers and riders.
