Article Text: Federalsburg, Md., July 22, 1916: Representatives of the Peninsula League from Seaford, Salisbury and Cambridge met with Dr. Walter Grier at Milford last night and after a conference lasting several hours, manager Grier decided to take Lewes' place in the baseball league. Lewes dropped out owing to the death of Ebe T. Lynch, he being the leading spirit of the Lewes team. It was decided to start the league next Tuesday with Seaford at Milford and Cambridge at Salisbury. Seaford is represented by Frank C. Dawson and William H. Parsons. Cambridge by Vernon Bradley, Salisbury by A. M. Jackson and Jack White. Milford is managed by Dr. Walter Grier. The mamagers adjourned to meet next Friday at Seaford when officers will be elected and rules governing the league will be drawn up.
