There were twelve separate excursions on that road alone to Rehoboth and then the State Guard Encampment transportation. With the incoming of many automobiles, Lewes Council will pass a speed ordinance to prevent the raceing along the town streets that have been going on every evening recently. During an electrical storm, Robert Coursey, near Lewes, was killed by lightning. The boys mother was badly stunned, but soon recovered. The boy was sitting in the doorway when the lightning struck the gable of the house. While fishing at the Breakwater, Sheriff Pritchett, of Georgetown, caught a 'trigger' fish, a common variety in Florida waters, but never before seen this far north. It is of a yellowish color and in shape resembles a flounder. A horse belonging to William Loftland, Jr., of Lewes, became frightened at an automobile yesterday and ran away, breaking the carriage and harnesses and finally landing itself in a grape arbor. Fortunatly, the animal, a valuable one, was not injured. The first definite steps to ensure a renomination for Congressman Burton of Lewes was taken yesterday when a meeting was held by a number of district leaders.
