MeGee of Lewes, and Mr. Wiliam A. Barr of Philadelphia, decided to get married and went to Georgetown for that purpose. Owing to the many camp meetings that are going on in this section they were unable to find a preacher and feared they would have to go back home without becoming 'one'. Then, the Rev. H. O. Keen of the Methodist Protestant Church happened to drive up after just returning from Zoar Camp Meeting. The couple were invited into the parlor of the parsonage where they were soon married. They will reside in Philadelphia. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ DE-Old-News ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NewspaperAbstracts.com - Finding our ancestors in the news!
